The rest of the country gets blanketed in fluffy white snow. Oklahoma gets an ice storm. Thankfully this one was pretty mild. Minimal tree damage compared to a few years ago and all the roads were completely clear. When the sun came out it looked like everything was covered in diamonds. We drove around and ooohhhhed and ahhhhhhhhed at nature’s light show. It was absolutely beautiful. It lasted about 3 days and then during the day of Christmas Eve the temps rose to about 40 and it was all gone in an afternoon.
