Actually it’s called the Museum of Osteology but I was hoping to get a giggle out of that title.
The first day of spring break was gloomy and cold. We made plans to go to the bone museum w/ some friends and we weren’t going to let a little chill get us down.
It’s not a very big museum when you compare it to Sam Noble Museum but it is jam-packed with skeletons. It only took us about an hour to see what we wanted to see. That was the perfect amount of time for three crazy kindergarten boys, two pre-school girls and one toddler. It’s reasonably priced and a short drive up Sooner Rd. (it’s on the corner of S.E. 104th and Sunnylane Rd.) I say pack up the kids and check it out.

I was astonished at the content of this museum. It isn’t so large but there are interesting things to see inside. I found the “process” these bones go through, which is interesting 🙂
