The best pie ever

Holy, sweet mother of all things thick and creamy. This pie is going to send you to your knees in thanksgiving to the pie gods.

I ran across this pie at Tasty Kitchen. If this gal came up with this on her own she should be given a medal.

Hang on to your seats cuz’ here we go.

No-Bake Nutter Butter Nutella Pie
Crust:
24 nutter butter cookies
1/4 cups butter, melted

Filling:
16 oz. cream cheese, softened
3/4 cups sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 cups nutella
1/2 cups whipping cream

Nutella Ganache (optional)
1/4 cups nutella
1/4 cups whipping cream

Spray a pie plate w/ cooking spray.
Process nutter butter cookies in a food processor until they are fine crumbs.

In a medium bowl stir together crumbs w/ melted butter.
Press into pie plate. Place in fridge to chill.

For the filling: whip cream cheese and sugar together until blended. Stir in vanilla and nutella. Scrape sides of bowl and mix again briefly. Stir in cream and then increase sped and whip 3 minutes or until very thick.
Pour into pie crust and smooth the top. Refrigerate until set, at least 2 hours.

For ganache: microwave nutella and cream together until a thin sauce forms. Drizzle over slices of pie.

In my haste to get out the door and get this pie to the school for Teacher Appreciation week I didn’t get a pic of the pie. I did however, have enough crust and filling to make three tiny pies.

Go forth with my blessing and make this pie. All that you serve it to will rise up and call you blessed.
