Can I play your phone?

This is what I hear every time we get into the car…”Mommy, can I play your phone?”  Now, I like playing Angry Birds as much as the next gal but I rarely have time to sit down on the couch with a glass of wine and drain my phone’s battery.  Angry Birds and Doodle Jump don’t get very much of my attention.

My phone is slowly being commandeered by a 6-year-old.  The screen is all smudged by his grubby little fingers that spend half the day up his nose.  Ugg.  I’m constantly Windexing it.  I don’t know if that’s good for it but I can’t have a boogery phone.

Slowly, more and more game apps are making their way onto the screen.  A request is made and I download.  The most recent downloads I’ve had to pay for.  Not something I like to do but he has found a way around my free-app-only rule.  The balance is shifting.

Evidence submission:

Innocent enough.

More games but still nothing to be alarmed at.

Hummmmm…

Yes son, you may play my phone.
